A Salish & Kootenai Tribally Owned Business

KVOA Television Station 4 – Tucson, AZ

As an example of the versatility of ITL’s abilities, we provided structural upgrade of a 50-year old tower. This was accomplished by adding steel and removing the existing unused loading antenna. The antenna could not be removed using a crane due to changed structural standards and existing structural issues. ITL, working with the U.S. Forest Service, put together a cutting and welding plan, which was stringent and thorough enough to eliminate any threat of fire. ITL used a gin pole and removed the antenna in sections. Without the flexibility and capability of the ITL team, the customer would have had to wait several months for the access road to dry enough to allow access by a crane large enough to remove the eight-thousand-pound antenna.
